About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law at the University of Sydney is a six-month postgraduate coursework graduate diploma. This course is a unique and innovative climate and environmental law program at the forefront of contemporary issues and developments. Students acquire a strong legal education and be well prepared for practice in the profession should students choose that career path. Students develop: critical thinking skills, the capacity for deep, evidence-based analysis and problem solving, and a thorough grounding in professional ethics. Students complete 24 credit points, equivalent to four units of study. There is one compulsory unit of study, Environmental Law & Policy and students without a law degree must also complete the unit, Legal Reasoning & the Common Law System.
