Master in Policy Studies
University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
The Master in Policy Studies at the University of Sydney gives students a critical, multidisciplinary perspective on public policy at the global, national and local level, amid growing public scrutiny, shrinking resources and new cross-border challenges. Core units cover the fundamentals of public policy and administration, with optional specialisations in economic policy, political economy or social policy, finishing with a capstone research project or supervised dissertation.
Certain units can be completed intensively over four days rather than across a full semester. Graduates move into policy analyst, government adviser and strategic planning roles across administration, research and education.
