About this program
The University of Sydney's Master of Nursing is a two-year graduate-entry, pre-registration degree that qualifies people who are not already nurses to apply for registration as a registered nurse. It is taught on campus only and runs to 96 credit points across 16 units, eight each year. Entry requires a previous bachelor degree in any discipline other than nursing, completed within the past ten years; overseas qualifications are accepted. First-semester study covers clinical nursing plus the social and system context of health, moving into mental health, acute care and other clinical areas.
