The Master of Teaching at the University of Sydney is a 2-year postgraduate coursework master's degree. For undergraduates aspiring to be qualified secondary school teachers, specialising in 1-2 teaching areas based on their undergraduate degree and interest. The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will provide students with the confidence, knowledge and skills required in the teaching profession. Students complete core units in education and curriculum in addition to professional units of study. Students have the option to specialise in either one or two teaching areas at secondary education level, including: English Mathematics Science HSIE (Aboriginal studies, business studies, economics, geography, modern history, ancient history, legal studies, society and culture) Creative Arts (drama and music) Languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Modern Hebrew.
