About this program
The Bachelor of Cybersecurity at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) covers threat intelligence, incident response, system and information security, cloud security and digital forensics, with options in network security, penetration testing, IoT security and privacy. Learning is hands-on in the UTS Cybersecurity Precinct, built on a foundation in computing and IT.
The degree can be taken as the standard program or through the UTS Industry Degree Academy, which has a separate application process and the same subjects. Graduates are eligible for Australian Computer Society professional membership. Study takes three years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.

Admissions
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Additional application and selection procedures apply for the IDeA version of this course. Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics Advanced and any two units of English. Mathematics Extension 1 and English Advanced are recommended.
