About this program

UTS Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) prepares students for professional engineering practice with complex systems and large-scale projects. Majors include biomedical, civil, civil and environmental, data science, electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechanical and mechatronic, mechatronic and software engineering, with a Flexible option that lets students explore in first year before choosing; the fully accredited majors are recognised internationally under the Washington Accord. The degree is four years full-time or eight part-time. Entry is based on a selection rank that varies by major, and applicants need HSC Mathematics Extension 1, Physics and English (English Advanced recommended) or equivalents. Indicative international tuition is around A$54,800 per year. Career paths follow the chosen major across biomedical, civil and environmental, electrical and electronic, and mechanical and mechatronic engineering.
