About this program
The Bachelor of Marine Biology and Climate Change at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) covers coral reef and aquatic ecosystems, the impacts of climate change, and environmental protection and management, built on eight foundational science subjects in biology, chemistry and the natural world. Students can take electives in policy, law, tourism and business, and complete an internship for academic credit.
The course is recognised by the Australian Marine Sciences Association. Study takes three years full-time. Graduates work in marine ecology, government policy and research. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.
