About this program
The Juris Doctor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a graduate-entry law degree for people who hold a bachelor's degree in another field. Core subjects cover criminal, property, administrative and constitutional law, followed by JD electives and a legal theory subject. Study is flexible, offered by day or evening, part-time or full-time, with some subjects in weekend or intensive blocks, though it cannot be completed fully online.
The degree satisfies the academic requirements for admission as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW, provided students also complete a practical legal training program. English requirements are IELTS Academic 7.0 overall.
