About this program
The Master of Pharmacy at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a two-year graduate-entry degree leading to eligibility for registration as a pharmacist. It combines therapeutics and pharmaceutical sciences with the design, delivery and evaluation of professional pharmacy services, and includes clinical placements across community and hospital settings, with a guaranteed hospital placement for eligible students.
The program is accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council and approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Graduates complete a compulsory intern training period before registration. On-campus learning uses the UTS Graduate School of Health facility. English requirements are IELTS Academic 7.0 overall.

Admissions
Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 4/7 AND Completed the following prerequisite subjects at a tertiary level within the last 10 years: one pharmacology subject two chemistry subjects one biochemistry subject one human physiology subject, and one mathematics or statistics subject AND Communication skills, interpersonal skills, interest in pharmacy, and commitment to pharmacy as a career (assessed through an interview by the faculty)
