Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Clinical Neuropsychology

University of Western Australia, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

This is a combined four year professional and research doctoral pathway (course code 01890/54590) that packages the Master of Clinical Neuropsychology with a PhD. It is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and is designed to produce clinical neuropsychologists grounded in the scientist practitioner tradition, who combine high level clinical competence with the ability to advance the discipline through original research. Graduates who complete the program become eligible to apply for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and may pursue endorsement in clinical neuropsychology after completing the Board's Registrar Program. This combined pathway is not being offered for new entry in 2026, though it remains an active accredited program in UWA's handbook.
