About this program
This is UWA's Master of Philosophy research degree undertaken in the field of public health, distinct from the coursework based Master of Public Health. It is a two year higher degree by research based in the School of Population and Global Health, allowing candidates who have already built a foundation in public health (commonly through a Master of Public Health with a substantial dissertation component) to pursue an original, supervised research project examining a public health question, such as epidemiology, health policy, biostatistics or population health topics, culminating in a thesis.
