The University of Western Australia's Master of Public Health is a 1.5-year degree. Entry is a bachelor degree with a weighted average of at least 60 percent and IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. A 36-point core builds a foundation in epidemiology, biostatistics, qualitative research methods, health economics and health promotion, and electives include Aboriginal health, environmental and occupational health, clinical epidemiology, and health leadership and management. Students choose one of three pathways: coursework only, coursework with a dissertation, or coursework with a practicum placement.
