About this program
The Bachelor of Information Technology at the University of Wollongong builds knowledge across the underlying sciences, IT, engineering and mathematical methodologies used to create and manage computer-based applications, systems and networks. Students study the fundamentals of computer science and IT, including programming, problem-solving, network and communications, web technology, data management, systems analysis, human-computer interaction and project management, and gain foundation knowledge of organisational areas such as database management and information systems analysis and design. Graduates work as developers, systems analysts, network specialists and IT managers.
