About this program
The Bachelor of Marine Science at the University of Wollongong prepares students to investigate the physical and biological nature of oceans, their conservation and environmental management, and their impact on human society. Students learn how to understand, observe and define oceanographic and coastal processes, ocean biodiversity, governance and management, and use emerging technologies in marine science. The degree benefits from proximity to the diverse New South Wales South Coast environment, providing substantial fieldwork opportunities. Graduates work in marine research, conservation, environmental management and government roles.
