About this program
The Master of Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Wollongong provides an integrated teaching and research program with the objective of promoting the highest level of safety and inspiring the next generation of occupational health and safety professionals. The knowledge and skills developed allow graduates to confidently address complex workplace health and safety issues through technical knowledge and application, with an emphasis on the communication skills and techniques needed to implement WHS strategies. The degree was developed with industry. Graduates work as WHS managers, advisers and consultants.

Admissions
A recognised bachelor's degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%, OR A Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety with an equivalent average mark of 50%, OR Either a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Hygiene with an equivalent average mark of at least 65%. Applicants with other relevant qualifications and/or work experience may also be considered.
