About this program
The UNSW Bachelor of Cyber Security (Sydney) is a three-year full-time degree of 24 courses, eight per year: 20 disciplinary core courses (16 core plus a four-course minor) and four general electives. Students complete one minor, and work-integrated learning is built into the core and minor courses of the final year. The degree sits in UNSW Engineering and combines computing fundamentals with security-specific study. Entry is competitive against a published selection rank, with international qualifications such as A levels converted to an equivalent score. Note that UNSW also offers a separate Bachelor of Computing and Cyber Security at its Canberra campus. Australia cyber security workforce has been growing quickly, and graduates move into roles across security operations, testing, incident response and security engineering. International tuition is about A$63,200 per year.
