About this program
The Bachelor of Design (Honours) is a studio-based undergraduate design program that prepares students to turn creative thinking into real-world design solutions. Study pathways cover computational design, industrial design and integrated design, and students develop practical and conceptual skills through design thinking, visual communication and user-centred innovation, supported by making workshops and digital fabrication facilities on the Art and Design campus. The program includes real-world and industry-linked projects. It is delivered face to face with Term 1, 2 and 3 entry through the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture. Graduates work as industrial and product designers, service and experience designers, UX and interaction designers, and design researchers across manufacturing, technology, health, government and consultancy.
