Bachelor of Media Arts (Honours)
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's combined Bachelor of Media and Bachelor of Arts lets students pair genuine media training, covering the creative, critical and practical skills needed to navigate and shape 21st-century media, with in-depth study of a specific humanities, social sciences or creative and performing arts discipline chosen from more than 30 available areas. Rather than studying media in isolation, students develop knowledge in a complementary arts discipline that gives their media expertise real depth and a distinctive edge over graduates with media training alone. The flexible Arts component means the degree can be structured around each student's specific skills, interests and career aspirations, whether that's combining media with politics, literature, a language, or another humanities discipline. It suits students who want genuine media industry skills backed by substantive academic depth in a complementary field, rather than treating media study as a purely standalone qualification.
