Master of Educational Leadership
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's Master of Educational Leadership by coursework gives aspiring and current educational leaders deep understanding of recent developments in educational leadership theory, research and practice, equipping them to lead educational organisations effectively. It's important to note this program doesn't provide teaching accreditation for NSW or Australian schools; students seeking that qualification should look at the Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching programs instead, and fully online study isn't available to international students on a student visa. It suits education professionals already working in or moving into formal leadership roles, such as school principals, deputy principals or system-level education administrators, who want substantial leadership training beyond the shorter Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership. The coursework focus builds practical leadership capability grounded in current research rather than pursuing an independent research thesis.
