Master of Information Technology
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's Master of Information Technology accommodates three quite different starting points: students with no or minimal prior computing background wanting a genuine IT qualification, students with a relevant bachelor's degree wanting broader computing understanding, and computer science or computer engineering graduates wanting to specialise in particular areas of the discipline. The program provides broad-based IT education with the option to specialise in up to two areas, letting graduates work across a genuinely wide range of IT industry positions rather than one narrow technical niche. It suits career-changers moving into IT from an unrelated background, IT professionals wanting broader technical grounding, and computing graduates wanting deeper specialisation, all within the same flexible program structure that adapts to each student's starting point and goals.
