About this program
The Master of Public Health (Research) at UNSW Sydney is designed primarily as training in advanced research work. Candidates demonstrate their ability to undertake research by submitting a thesis embodying the results of an original investigation or design, and are normally expected to have at least three years of experience in health services. Candidates enrol for between 96 and 144 units of credit and may study full time, part time, or externally using research facilities outside the University, with annual review of progress. The degree is offered by the School of Population Health in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the UNSW Kensington campus in Sydney, and typically runs two years full time.
