About this program
The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Psychological Studies at Victoria University combines a deep understanding of criminal behaviour with study of the systems that respond to it. Students examine the social, political and psychological factors that shape behaviour, including trauma, inequality and mental health, while developing knowledge in counselling theory, family dynamics, research and ethics. This interdisciplinary course prepares graduates for work across justice, welfare and community sectors, including victim support and advocacy, child protection and family services, corrections and rehabilitation, mental health and wellbeing, and policy development. In the final year students complete an industry placement. It is offered at VU in Melbourne.
