About this program
Plan a healthier future This program will provide you with the ability to determine the nature of community health problems and the skills to initiate steps in defining and alleviating them by bringing together the various services available. This program will suit students who seek an introduction to public health. The program provides the opportunity to develop skills and acquire knowledge essential for the effective practice of public health. One of the major goals of the program is to promote the proactive role by public health professionals in co-ordinating relevant community resources. Subjects of study include: A Global Perspective on Social Determinants of Health Public Health, Policy and Society Introduction to Epidemiology Introduction to Biostatistics This course is delivered by Western Sydney University.

Overseas qualifications must be deemed by the Australian Education International - National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) to be equivalent to Australian qualifications in order to be considered by UAC and Western Sydney University.
