About this program
Master of Chinese Medicine at Western The Master of Chinese Medicine is for Chinese medicine practitioners aiming to strengthen their knowledge and skills to work autonomously within health systems, including health and promotion. The program incorporates a clinical placement component, undertaken either at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine or in Sydney, subject to the program's assessment of individual circumstances. The program is also for graduates with a Chinese Medicine specialisation seeking a research pathway. It can be completed in two years of full-time study or the part-time equivalent. You can undertake clinical placements or work with expert research supervisors to tackle complex problems as part of an international education initiative. There are early exit options after one and a half years (Masters in Chinese Medicine), one year (Graduate Diploma in Chinese Medicine) or six months (Graduate Certificate in Chinese Medicine).

Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline. Applicants who have undertaken studies overseas may have to provide proof of proficiency in English. Overseas qualifications must be deemed by the Australian Education International - National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) to be equivalent to Australian qualifications in order to be considered by UAC and Western Sydney University.
