About this program
Western Sydney University Master of Nursing gives registered nurses the theoretical knowledge and critical-thinking skills for advanced clinical practice, with a major in clinical leadership, clinical teaching or tuberculosis management. In the final sessions students apply what they have learned through a project or research experience relevant to their goals. A one-year, 80 credit point pathway requires current registration as a registered nurse, or eligibility, or registration within the last five years; a 1.5-year, 120 credit point pathway also requires two years of full-time-equivalent registered-nurse experience within the last five years. Full-time and part-time study are both available. Indicative international tuition is around A$38,700 per year. Graduates progress into clinical leadership, education and specialist roles.
