Bachelor of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying
Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
A two-year accelerated degree (six semesters) covering construction technology, site management, contract administration, building measurement, tendering and finance, project delivery systems, and risk management. First year pairs introductory construction subjects with Bond's core subjects; second year works through the professional subjects and ends with an industry-based capstone project.
The degree carries a strong set of accreditations: the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and it meets the education requirement for a Queensland Open Builders Licence. Teaching includes industry guest involvement and practical assessments modelled on workplace tasks, and students work in Bond's 6 Star Green Star Sustainable Development Building. It is a direct route into quantity surveying, contract administration, or site and project management.
