Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management
Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
A two-year degree (six semesters) starting each January. First year combines Bond's core subjects with tourism analysis, sustainable tourism, and an Indigenous culture subject; second year covers strategic pricing and revenue management, rooms division management, and human resource management, plus a wide elective block. Teaching is through the Bond Business School, which holds AACSB and EQUIS accreditation.
A supervised industry placement is a required part of the degree through Bond's Beyond Bond program, with internship partners including Marriott, Accor, Hilton, InterContinental, and Wyndham. Students can also take a study tour or a semester on international exchange in their final year. The degree suits students heading into hotel operations, revenue management, events, or destination management.
