Master of Actuarial Science (Specialisation)

Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia

About this program

The longer specialisation version of Bond's Master of Actuarial Science, running six semesters (two years) rather than four. It covers the same accredited core, from financial mathematics, mathematical statistics and linear models through survival analysis, stochastic processes, corporate finance and asset-liability modelling, and adds further depth and elective specialisation on top.

Like the standard version it is accredited by the Actuaries Institute and covers the university components of the Part I Foundation Program, and it is the only actuarial program offered in Queensland. Teaching uses the Bond FinTech Hub and a Bloomberg certification pathway. It suits numerate graduates who want more coverage and a specialisation than the shorter Actuarial Science degree provides, without going all the way to the Master of Actuarial Practice.
