About this program

An 18-month master's (six semesters on Bond's three-intake calendar) open to graduates from both construction and non-construction backgrounds. The core covers building structures, soil mechanics, construction technology, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, cost planning and project management, with year-two electives in dispute resolution, forensic engineering and property rights.

It is recognised by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and with the right electives it meets the requirements for a Queensland open builders licence. Teaching is by industry practitioners in Bond's 6-Star Green Star Built Environment building. It suits people moving into construction management, project management or quantity surveying, including from unrelated fields.
