About this program
The work-integrated learning version of Bond's Master of Construction Practice. The coursework is the same and is open to graduates from both construction and non-construction backgrounds, covering building structures, soil mechanics, construction technology, contract administration, building measurement, cost planning and project management, with electives in areas such as dispute resolution and forensic engineering. It carries the same recognition from the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. The Professional version adds a compulsory 20-week Work Integrated Learning component in the final semester, a supervised industry placement plus a professional portfolio, taken after coursework, adding about one semester. It is open to international students only; domestic students take the standard degree. It suits students moving into construction or quantity surveying who want Australian site experience in the program.
