About this program
An eight-month program that makes up the fifth year of the six-year psychology training pathway. Entry requires an accredited four-year psychology sequence (bachelor plus honours or a graduate diploma) and provisional registration with AHPRA before starting.
It includes 300 hours of supervised practice at Bond's on-campus psychology clinic, with mandatory in-person attendance. It is accredited to APAC standards. On its own it does not lead to registration: graduates then complete a further year of approved supervised practice (the 5+1 internship route) to reach the six years required for general registration. Students who want to finish the pathway entirely through university study take the two-year Master of Psychology (Clinical) instead.

Admissions
Successful completion of a four-year APAC-accredited sequence within the last ten years, with a GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or 65%-74%) upon completion of the fourth-year program. Must also meet additional requirements. Conditional offers will not be made for students seeking admission into Bond's Master of Psychology (Clinical) program and/or Master of Professional Psychology program. Where the student has not fully completed their prior studies by the application deadline, either at Bond or another institution, they will not be eligible to apply for the program at that time. We encourage them to apply for the following year's intake.
