About this program
The Bachelor of Environmental Science at Charles Darwin University combines academic study with practical experience, enabling students to play an active role in the protection and conservation of the environment. Foundation knowledge in biology, ecology and spatial analysis is the base from which students learn to solve complex environmental problems, exploring human impacts, social and cultural perspectives, and how to communicate information for positive environmental outcomes. Training in critical and systems thinking prepares graduates to work in government, private companies or community organisations in areas including environment and heritage and biodiversity conservation.
