About this program
The Bachelor of Design at Deakin University helps students harness creativity to solve complex problems and influence the world around them, with the option to focus on architecture. Students learn design-thinking tools used widely across industry, such as journey mapping, empathy maps and visualisation, and work with industry-standard tools in dedicated design facilities. By second year, students' work meets industry standards, giving them an understanding of professional practice, and they can major in communication design or interactive and UX design. Graduates work across design studios, agencies and in-house creative teams.
