About this program
The Master of Psychology (Clinical) combines coursework, clinical practice and research to prepare graduates for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Students develop advanced understanding of clinical problems across childhood, adolescence and adulthood, alongside evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention and professional ethics. At least 1,000 hours of supervised fieldwork are completed during the course, including placements in regional, rural and remote settings through Federation's industry partnerships and its own FedUni Community Psychology Services.

Entry requirementsEntry requirements (non year 12)Successful completion of an Australian bachelor’s degree, or overseas equivalent at AQF level 8, APAC accredited sequence in psychology. Must also have a GPA 6.0 and above score. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of credit average in the fourth year of study.Applicants are requested to provide supplementary information to support their application as listed below: Interview - An in-person or online meeting with one or more course representative to discuss your suitability for the course. Students are required to complete an interview as part of the assessment of suitability for the profession of psychology Referee Report: A document provided by a designated referee that provides an assessment of your skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the course being applied for.
