About this program

Griffith's Master of Clinical Psychology Practice is an 80-credit-point degree, one year full-time, taught at the Gold Coast and Brisbane South, developed with industry to prepare psychologists and provisional psychologists for a sustainable career in clinical psychology. Students learn advanced techniques for clinical psychological assessment, case conceptualisation, and the implementation and evaluation of interventions, and complete 750 hours of supervised psychological practice under accredited clinical psychologist supervisors. The degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Entry requires provisional or general psychology registration, and IELTS 7.0. Graduates work in Queensland Health and child and youth mental health services, education, corrections, health psychology, non-government agencies, private hospitals and general practice, and private practice. Indicative international tuition is around A$37,500 per year.
