About this program

Griffith's Master of Professional Psychology is an 80-credit-point degree, one year full-time, taught at Brisbane South and the Gold Coast. It integrates supervised placements with coursework on professional and ethical practice, evaluating client needs, designing and implementing evidence-based interventions, and evaluating outcomes, and is designed as the fifth year of the 5+1 pathway to general registration as a psychologist. Enrolment can allow registration as a provisional psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and prepares graduates for the subsequent one-year internship. The degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Entry is an accredited fourth-year psychology qualification with honours, provisional registration and an interview, and IELTS 7.0. Indicative international tuition is around A$37,500 per year.
