About this program
When people are at their most vulnerable, human services workers are there. This degree gives you the advanced skills, specialist knowledge and real-world placement experience to take on senior roles across health, community and social justice contexts, wherever you're needed most. Depending on the subject, you can choose from available online or on-campus attendance options, allowing you to balance study with work and other commitments. This degree prepares practitioners for leadership and advanced practice across the human services system, with regional grounding and supervised placements. Core subjects cover foundations for practice, organisational practice, community development, human diversity, advanced research methods, counselling theory and practice, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
