About this program
La Trobe's Master of Clinical Psychology is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree that provides the professional training for a career in clinical psychology. Coursework covers cognitive behavioural therapy, child and adolescent mental health, psychopathology, counselling skills, psychological assessment and treatment, and advanced psychotherapy, alongside professional and ethical practice and report writing. A clinical placement practicum has students conduct intake assessments and casework with adults and children. Entry requires an accredited fourth-year psychology qualification with strong results, completed in the last ten years. IELTS 7.0 with no band below 7.0.
