About this program
Monash's Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Primary and Secondary Inclusive and Special Education prepares school leavers to teach students with diverse learning needs across both primary and secondary settings, one of seven specialisations under Monash's Bachelor of Education. The course builds specific expertise in inclusive teaching practices and special education strategies, going beyond the general teaching skills covered in Monash's standard education specialisations to address the particular pedagogical approaches needed for students with disabilities or additional learning needs. 1 term of coursework
- The course requires the completion of 204 credit points structured into five parts: Part A. Core studies, Part B. Education studies, Part C. Curriculum studies, Part D. Discipline studies and Part E. Professional experience. The additional Mandatory requirements detailed below must also be completed. If you are enrolled in a double degree course, your discipline studies will be completed through the partner degree course.
