Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology Advanced

Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

Monash's Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology Advanced is a shorter, sixth-year-only accredited pathway for students who are already registered psychologists and want to specialise specifically in educational and developmental psychology to become eligible for a registrar program in the area. It builds the same evidence-based assessment, therapeutic and research skills as the full Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology, but assumes students already hold general registration and earlier psychology training, so the course focuses on the final accreditation level rather than repeating foundational content. It suits registered psychologists who've decided on educational and developmental psychology as their specialty and want the fastest accredited route to registrar eligibility, rather than psychology graduates who haven't yet completed general registration and would instead need the full-length Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology or Master of Professional Psychology.
