Graduate Diploma in Creative Arts Therapies

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

The 24 credit point first year of Murdoch's Master of Creative Arts Therapies, which Murdoch says is the only program of its kind in Western Australia. Study is highly experiential, taught in purpose-built creative arts therapies spaces through workshops and supervised practice, and covers arts psychotherapy theory and foundational practice. Completing the diploma is the entry point to the master's year, where students build toward professional membership with ANZACATA and Level 2 membership with the Australian Counselling Association. Entry involves a creative practice portfolio and an interview. It suits people committed to training as creative arts therapists.
