About this program

The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) at RMIT University covers the planning, coordination and control of a project from inception to delivery. Students examine the principles, techniques and regulations of the building and construction industry for medium-rise and wide-span buildings up to 25 metres high, through a practical curriculum that incorporates hands-on work and project-based learning. Site excursions to residential and commercial construction projects give students hands-on field experience, and classes are available day or evening. It is taught in Melbourne.
