Bachelor of Interior Design (Commercial)

Torrens University Australia, Multi-campus, national, Australia

About this program

The degree runs eight common core subjects, 15 specialised subjects and one elective over three years, focused on commercial rather than residential interiors: retail, hospitality, nightlife and workplace environments. Core technical subjects cover construction and CAD, joinery and finishes, computer 3D modelling, and a Systems and Documentation sequence that runs through three commercial-specific units.

A Portfolio and Industry Experience subject sits alongside a dedicated Work Integrated Learning placement, and the elective pool crosses into residential interior design, marketing/media and even public health subjects, letting students angle toward hospitality or health-facility design work.

Delivered on campus at Sydney and online, 3 years full time, 2 years accelerated, or 6 years part time.
