Graduate Diploma of Counselling

Torrens University Australia, Multi-campus, national, Australia

About this program

The graduate diploma runs eight core subjects over one year full time, extending the Graduate Certificate of Counselling into supervised practice: mental health, digital counselling, advanced counselling skills, and a Clinical Practice and Supervision subject that provides supervised work placement.

Students without a related prior degree must complete the Graduate Certificate of Counselling first, a professional-accreditation requirement. The course is a standalone qualification, a route into counselling practice, or a pathway to the Master of Counselling.

Delivered fully online.

Note: the current course page does not publish a separate international-student English language requirement; confirm directly with Torrens International Admissions before applying as an international student.
