About this program
A highly selective two-year master's (48 credit points) covering the Level 3 and 4 graduate competencies set by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council, combining coursework, 1,000 hours of supervised placement across four rotations, and a three-part research project ending in a capstone.
Early placements run in UC's student-led health clinic, later ones across the lifespan in external services. Graduates are eligible for general registration as a psychologist and entry to the registrar program for clinical endorsement through AHPRA. Entry requires a four-year APAC-accredited psychology sequence, usually honours, completed within the last decade with at least 75 percent in the final year, plus eligibility for provisional registration. Shortlisted applicants are interviewed, and Commonwealth-supported places are limited and awarded on merit.
