About this program
The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) provides the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in social justice, drawing on academics experienced in areas such as addiction, child welfare, disability and mental health. Students explore social work roles across direct practice, policy, education, community development and counselling, and complete two Field Education placements totalling a combined minimum of 1,000 hours. The program holds provisional accreditation from the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for delivery in Fremantle and Sydney.

Admissions
Applicants must hold a relevant Australian Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification completed within the last 10 years, with a minimum Weighted Average Mark of 60%, including at least one full-time-equivalent year of study in the social and behavioural sciences (which may include arts, social sciences, behavioural sciences, business, law, nursing, or allied health).
