University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia

About this program

The Bachelor of Design in Architecture is a three-year degree that introduces the profession of architecture through a core program in architectural history and theory, communications, building technology and studio-based design workshops. Students also take electives from across the University in areas such as digital design, sustainability and urban design, and work in the school's design studios, computer laboratories and digital fabrication facilities. It is delivered face to face at the Camperdown/Darlington campus. The degree is the first step toward professional registration: graduates typically progress to the Master of Architecture, which is accredited by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. Graduates work in architectural practice, project management, property development and urban planning.
