About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Urban Design at the University of Sydney is a 1-year postgraduate coursework graduate diploma. This program will develop their skills and knowledge in urban design and urbanism with a strong emphasis on sustainability, quantification and implementation. This program offers a foundation in historical and theoretical dimensions of urbanism and design and expands their understanding and design skills at both suburban and metropolitan levels. Students develop the ability to analyse contexts, define principles and provide guidance for designers and architects of buildings, landscape, and the public domain.
