About this program
The Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) trains students for professional practice as clinical psychologists. All academic staff are practising clinical psychologists, and students develop clinical skills through the university clinic and external placements, completing 96 credit points including 24 credit points of research and 1,000 clinical hours.
The course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Study takes two years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 7.0 overall.

Admissions
Completed Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Level 1 and Level 2 program in psychology within the last 10 years with at least an upper second class Honours (H2A) or equivalent overall mark AND a minimum GPA of 5.8/7 AND a period of at least 6 months of relevant professional work experience in mental health. Applications and eligibility for interview are assessed based on academic performance, a period of at least 6 months of relevant professional work experience in mental health, and academic and professional references.
