About this program

The University of Western Australia's Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology degree. If you're looking to upskill in clinical psychology and you've completed a master's degree or equivalent in clinical neuropsychology and are qualified with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) this bridging course allows you to do that. You'll be eligible for endorsement as a clinical psychologist with the PsyBA and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA). The usual part-time nature of this diploma will suit you if you're working as a practicing psychologist. However, depending on the units you've have already taken, it may be possible to complete within one year.

Admissions

(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have- (a) an accredited Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, or an accredited Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology), or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and (b) completed a thesis project in their Masters or Doctoral program with a content area relevant to the field of clinical psychology (2) Applicants must be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, which includes meeting the Board's English language registration standard.
